"During a routine check up I discovered a lesion on the lateral side of a patient's tongue.  After a biopsy it was determined that the lesion was cancerous.  The lesion was removed and he has been cancer free for 2 years!  Everytime he comes in he tells everyone in the waiting room, "my dentist saved my life".  It is an honor to have that kind of impact on my patient's lives."
